Popular Places to Visit

Major Upcoming Events

Every year our Annual Conference gets bigger and better. This spring will see a conference that embraces the virtual world of folk arts and spans the globe. There will be master teachers giving dance workshops; experts presenting their research into folk arts; participatory folk music, crafts lessons, South Appalachian flat footing, French Canadian children’s dances, Pacific Northwest First Nations traditions, Polynesian singing, and Bulgarian folk dancing in Japan. Additionally, there will be group discussions about current issues and concerns, and breakout rooms for smaller group discussions on a variety of relevant topics. Last, but not least, you and your dance group are invited to lead some dances for one of our evening dance parties, see more information below.
